Too Many Skincare Choices
There are SO many brands of skincare now. There are SO many different kinds of products.
I’m calling it; the skincare market is officially saturated. Analysis Paralysis.
Where do you even start? How do you choose?
There are SO many experts! Beauty influencers, bloggers, vloggers (?), reviewers, celebrities – each saying that their skincare routine is To Die For. Must Have. Can’t Live Without.
Here’s the thing.
If you read reviews by someone who’s half your age, lives in Texas and who has potentially misidentified their skin as oily – those products won’t work the same for you.
You want someone to look at YOUR skin. Touch YOUR skin. Ask what YOU’RE using and whether or not you feel it’s working for you.
As I wash your face, my hands tell me a lot. I look at your freshly washed face with a magnification lamp (no judgement; total acceptance). I ask lots of questions so I can shortlist skincare ingredients and product styles that might work for YOUR skin.
I don’t care what So-and-So in Hollywood is using. Humidity levels, UV levels, vitamins, prescriptions, ethnic heritage, diet, health, stress levels, age, hormones – are all different from yours. What works for her may not work for you.
I want you to have products effective for you not products effective for some famous person in a different time zone. And I’ve been doing exactly this for over 11 years. If you have products that are working for you and that you love, great! If you are missing a piece or two and need help, great! I’m here for you.
